PDNA is pleased to have members of the Friends of Flagstaff's Future Transition Team talk about oil dependency and what we can do as a community to move toward a less oil dependent local economy. The Transition Team will let us know what they plan here in Flagstaff in the near future.

We will also have an update on the Oil Spill in the Gulf. Discussion will focus on the causes of the oil spill, the steps taken to stop the spill, the destruction it is causing and the way forward for restoration of the gulf.

Finally, we will have a presentation from F3's Transportation Action Team about the upcoming September 22nd Carfree Day in Flagstaff. Follow this link if you would like to pledge to be "carfree" on September 22nd.

Ward Davis: member of F3's Transition Action Team, Independent Renewables & Environment Professional, VP of Flagstaff's Electric Auto Association and former petroleum engineer (Houston based).

Bill Sheppard, founding member of the F3 Transition Action Team, retired corporate trainer, dedicated to finding solutions to climate change.

Eva Putzova: President of F3 is experienced in strategic planning, social research, and marketing. She is a member of F3's Energy/Transportation Action Team.
