No on Prop 302 meeting

The Arizona School Board Association is sponsoring a meeting on Monday, October 11th at 6:00 pm at the Big Park Community School to discuss why you should vote No on Proposition 302.

Proposition 302 will dismantle and sweep funds from First Things First. First Things First was created by the voters of Arizona to provide services for children from birth until age 5 to supplement services provided by the state to ensure that all children are healthy and ready to succeed in school when they reach Kindergarten age. First Things First is funded by taxes paid on tobacco purchases.

We will have representatives from the local Yavapai County and Coconino County First Things First Regional councils to discuss the activities of First Things First First in our local area. We will also have representatives from the Arizona School Board Association, the Arizona Education Association and the No on 302 campaign.
